9th February saw Stephen Quinn and George Maris make a surprise appearance at Lake View Primary school, visiting the pupils during a Premier League Primary Stars session, led by Community Coaches Dain and Mike. The session began with a Q&A session, with the pupils asking both the players on what it’s like to be a football player. The pupils asked both players a variety of different questions, keeping the two players on their toes! They both handed out football certificates to all involved as well as a quick photo opportunity, with even the teachers getting involved. There was a real excitement amongst the pupils, with some almost awe struck as they got to meet one of their favourite players.
We would like to thank the effort of both players getting involved in the session at Lake View and we look forward to collaborating with the players again in the short future.
