Yorkshire Wildlife Park – Week 3 Trip

Yorkshire Wildlife Park, Doncaster

Week 3 trip saw us visit the UK’s number 1 Walk through Wildlife Park adventure. The park features more than 300 different animals such as Lions, Otters, Giraffes, Polar Bears and much more.

For many of the children who visited today with us, this was their first experience of this park.

Upon arrival the sun was shining brightly which meant that we was going to be in for an enjoyable day. As soon as you enter the park you are greeted by the Meerkat enclosure which is always a good attraction.

Poppy and Elsie liked them as they posed for a photo.

Prior to our lunch break we encountered Lions, Tigers, Giraffes, Polar Bears, Otters to name a few. All very interesting in their own manner. The park rangers were on hand to give public talks to the general public about certain animals during feeding times.

Poppy aged 9 said ” The park is very exciting, enjoyable and educational. I liked the giant otters because one started doing its business (toilet break ) in front of us and then sniffed it ”

Ryan aged 9 also added ” I liked it especially the new play park they have had built ”

And finally Elliot age 6 has visited the park before with his Mum. He had this to say ” I have been before and noticed they now have more polar bears this time around. Last year they only had 2 and now they have 4 “
