Emirates Stadium & Wembley Stadium.
2 top venues, 1 great day.
Our weekly outing throughout our summer programme saw us visit London as we headed to Community Shield winners Arsenal and the home of England football Wembley.
The children got to experience media rooms, changing rooms, players entrance, walking down the tunnel area, as well as sitting in the dugouts. Plus much more.
Kerry Haycox ( Parent ) said “Massive shoutout to Mansfield Town Fitc for taking the boys on a fantastic trip today – Alfie’s buzzing 😊thanks guys “
Kelly Peat ( Parent ) “Looks like our boys are having a fab time!! ⚽️
Keeley Foulstone Betts (Parent) “You guys are amazing! Thank you all so much xxx “
For many of the children this was their first ever visit to London never mind Arsenal and Wembley.
You could see the excitement on their faces from the moment they arrived at Mansfield and this continued throughout the day.
Check out some quotes from the attendees
Sam Burrows 14 said ” Great day ”
Oliver Page 10 added ” This is the greatest day of my life ”
Liam Blower 7 said ” Wembley was the better tour although I really enjoyed both tours ”
Jakub Nowakowska 13 had this to say” I enjoyed both stadiums but preferred Wembley as we got to ask the tour guide questions rather than the self guided tour at Arsenal listening to a digital box which I missed a couple of sections on. I have not been to either place before so it was a great experience “
