Gary Shaw, Community Manager, said “We’re expecting Easter to be a really tough time for parents to find things for youngsters to do, with many travel plans cancelled due to the recent outbreak of Coronavirus, which is why here at Football in the Community we are determined to make our activities affordable, accessible and most importantly – enjoyable.
“Naturally parents will be concerned about the outbreak and may be cautious over sending their child to a group activity, however we can assure them that we have several procedures and measures in place for the holiday-clubs to go ahead as planned.”
In addition to our regular half-term camps, we can confirm that our popular ‘Girls United’ day will return for TWO dates in Easter, on Tuesday 7th and Tuesday 14th April – with both sessions taking place 12-4pm, costing £12 per participant per session.
Female Inclusion Officer Amy Page added “I’m delighted to be hosting two more Girls United days during Easter, our last one was extremely popular and I’m hoping to build on that with these two dates – as we head towards more regular sessions with the Wildcats sessions launching later this year
“We’ll again be designing lots of activities with a range of games for girls aged 5 to 15 to enjoy”
