Donation made to FITC

Mansfield Town Football in the Community have received a donation from the family of Stan Downs, who has recently passed away. Stan Downs was a lifelong fan of the club and member of Shirebrook Stags Supporters Association. 

2021/22 will see us introduce the inaugural school football competition for under 7’s as part of our Premier League Primary Stars programme. To show our appreciation of the donation, this year we will be naming this competition, the ‘Stan Downs memorial trophy’. This trophy will be rebranded each year, for us to show our appreciation to the public/community who support ourselves.

We would like to send our condolences to Stan’s family and loved ones.
