Adventure Day – Black Rocks, Derbyshire
Week 2 trip consisted of abseiling, weaseling, and caving. For many of the children this was their first ever opportunity of doing these type of activities.
Pictured above are a few of them as they started their descent.
The children split into two groups for the activities and swapped over after lunch.
The caving took place in Devonshire Mine, Matlock famous for lead mining back in the day.
The children really enjoyed their underground experience as they scurried around different tunnels and shafts.
