Young explorers set for flag finding adventure on Thursday’s | Spaces still available

Youngsters from across Mansfield and Ashfield are invited to a day of adventure and exploring, as Football in the Community host its annual ‘Flag Finding Adventure’ day this coming Thursday [15th August]

The day is designed to challenge youngsters to their limits, as they work in teams to navigate the woods of Derbyshire and solve clues to be the find their opponents flag and win the race!

For just £30, youngsters aged 5 to 15 are welcome to attend enjoying numerous adventure games throughout the day in the great outdoors of Derbyshire, as well as enjoying a picnic in the woods.

Booking is essential and can be made by calling 01623 656 920 today – the day will start and end at the Football in the Community office at the One Call Stadium, 8.30am to 4pm.

Community Manager Gary Shaw said “The flag finding adventure is held in high regard and has been an activity we’ve done lots over the past thirty years, as the kids get lots from it.

“It really brings out their competitive nature and is a bit of a hidden challenge for their brains, as they have to solve a number of clues and work together, in order to be a winner!

“Furthermore it’s also proven to be a real confidence booster for those children who are on the shy side, we’ve seen numerous youngsters over the years really thrive in this environment and urge anyone to come along and give it a try.”
