VACANCY: Media & Communications Officer (Part Time) – Football in the Community

Mansfield Town Football in the Community are looking for a Media and Communications Officer to join our team on a part time basis.

FITC is a registered charity and operates independently from the football club, working on a range of initiatives including the ‘Premier League Primary Stars’ Project.

We are looking for someone with experience in creative and digital media to help us to promote our various projects in line with the EFL Trust.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for sport, in particular football, along with proven experience in cross platform publication, including producing both written and visual material for publication.

We are looking for someone with at least two years journalism experience to manage all aspects of our communications, with duties including the publication of press releases, the maintaining of the website and social media channels, promoting activities such as Walking Football and Futsal, along with other duties to be discussed during the interview process.

The ideal candidate must also be comfortable working with young people and, upon an offer of employment, will be subject to various safeguarding checks. We will also be looking to recruit someone comfortable working unsociable hours including weekends, preferably with a full, clean, UK Driving Licence.
