The Vauxhall Pentagon Cup

What is the Vauxhall Pentagon Cup?

Each season Mansfield Town Football in the Community organises a cup competition for junior footballers from schools across the town and surrounding areas.

The Vauxhall Pentagon Cup comprises of a six a side competition for Yr3/4 school children. A limit of Yr3/4 is insisted as we try to encourage schools to enter Yr6 children in the EFL u11 Kids Cup and Yr5 children to enter the John Radford Trophy.

The road to One Call Stadium starts in June when Mansfield Town Football in the Community organise local competitions for all local schools who wish to take part. We hope this will become a prestigious event on the school games calendar.

This competition is aimed at providing competitive sports opportunities for children through primary school tournaments and fixtures as part of our Premier League Primary Stars programme.

Previous winners of this competition include Samuel Barlow School in 2013/14, Croft Primary School in 2014/15, King Edward in 2015/16, 2016/17
