SSA Halloween Party a Spooky Success

Fifty Junior SSA Members enjoyed a spooky night at Jango’s indoor play centre last night, celebrating Halloween with two hours of free play and fun.

One of three annual parties which the SSA put on FREE for Junior members in association with Football in the Community, youngsters donned their best fancy dress costumes for the evening – with the top ten chosen to win tickets for the Stags’ forthcoming Checkatrade Trophy match with Scunthorpe United.

The winners received one adult and one junior ticket for the match, which could see the Stags finish as group winners, should they draw or beat opponents Scunthorpe United.

Mark Hemingray, Head of Community, said “nights like this are brilliant for the kids, I think it’s great that the SSA give their members the opportunity to enjoy nights of fun and enjoyment for free.

“The kids really embraced it [the fancy dress] there were some really great costumes and it was really tough to pick the winners. I can’t wait for the Christmas party now!”

Junior SSA Members receive a number of benefits, including parties at Christmas, Easter and Halloween – as well as discounted prices for our match day clubs and more. It costs just £5 to become a Junior SSA Member, for further details – call the SSA on 07967 689 597 or call Football in the Community on 01623 656 920
