Held at Mansfield Town Football in the Community’s pupils will be able to exchange vouchers handed out in schools for books, or pick up a copy of their favourite reads for as little as £1 as Football in the Community celebrate World Book Day.

The pop-up book shop, in partnership with the National Literacy Trust and WH Smith will see the popular book shop bring along books which youngsters can either purchase for £1 or exchange for a World Book Day voucher, handed out by schools across the region.
Youngsters can also attend Saturday’s match with Cheltenham FREE of Charge – more details can be found here
Gary Shaw, Community Manager, said “Throughout the academic year we work extremely hard with schools on reading interventions and are delighted to be hosting the pop-up book shop in partnership with the Literacy Trust and WH Smith
“The youngsters we see really love picking up a book and sitting down to read and for many of them this will be their first opportunity to purchase a book to keep and read at leisure rather than borrow from a school or library
“Reading is a vital and pivotal part of a child’s development and as a Community Scheme we are delighted to support World Book Day by hosting the Pop-Up Book shop”
