**Now Recruiting For 2021/22**

We are now seeking students to join our Education Pathway in September and take the next step on their journey. The BTEC Level Three Diploma/ Extended Diploma in Sports Coaching and Development will encourage students to fulfil their potential and discover more about the possibilities of a prolonged career in Sport, with a coursework based approach to learning.

Students will also get numerous opportunities to discover and try the career options available to them throughout the two-year course, including the chance to work with Mansfield Town Football in the Community’s experienced coaching team – gaining valuable first-hand experience.

Ben Cocker, Education Officer at Football in the Community, said “We’re really excited about the new academic year and supporting students’ development.

“A lot of youngsters are pointed towards playing and education takes a backseat, but the number who don’t break through into a playing career is far greater than those who do and as such, those unsuccessful students are left in limbo.

“Our program is designed to provide students with a solid educational base for their futures, whilst simultaneously maintaining that desire to keep playing, as we offer regular competitive games in the CEFA (Community and Education Football Alliance) league, playing against other Football League Trust sides across the country”

Students will be provided with a training kit, laptop and will be based at Mansfield Town Football Clubs One Call Stadium, training daily with a UEFA B qualified coach and studying in an OFSTED rated Good Education facility, overseen by our expert staff.
