Following the amended government guidelines to introduce tier systems across the UK to regionalised areas, Mansfield Town Football in the Community would like to provide clarity on which activities can and cannot continue, following the change in rules.

ACTIVE MINDS

In line with new government guidelines, we are now unable to run the ‘Active Minds: Chat’ group which takes place in doors. With Mansfield placed into Tier Two, members from different households can no longer mix indoors.

However, ‘Active Minds: Sport’ will still continue as this falls under the organised sport category. As before, participants must register at the 3G Pitch, PLEASE NOTE, this session only runs during term-time to avoid a clash with our Holiday Clubs – please see the dates below for forthcoming sessions

SATURDAY MORNING KIDS CLUB

This will continue as normal, as it falls under the organised sport category. We kindly remind parents/ guardians to respect social distancing whilst in the que to register and that we will continue to operate a one-in, one-out policy within the building, where face coverings MUST be worn.   

OCTOBER HALF TERM HOLIDAY CLUBS

We are delighted to confirm that this will go ahead as planned, as both an organised sporting event and childcare. However, we have made some modifications to how this will run which parents/ guardians should be aware of.  

  • ALL activities will take place OUTDOORS, there will be no indoor provision for bad weather and as such, children should be sent with warm clothing suitable for prolonged outdoor play – along with a change of clothing.

  • LUNCH will also be eaten outdoors with social distancing in place within the stand, all participants must have their own lunch box and cutlery where required.   

  • REGISTRATION will be similar to that of the Saturday Morning Kids Club, whereby parents/ guardians are asked to maintain social distancing whilst in the que. A one-in, one-out system will also be in place. As you pay/ register your child will be allocated a space to put lunch/ spare clothes and then be taken directly to the 3G Pitch for the day’s activities to commence  

WILDCATS

This will continue as normal – please continue to register at the 3G Pitch. Parents/ Guardians are welcome to stay, however must respect social distancing. Participants must pre-book using this link.

PL KICKS

This will continue as normal during term time – please continue to register at the 3G Pitch. Due to new Premier League guidance, all participants MUST pre-book using this link.  

OVER 45s WALKING FOOTBALL

This will continue as normal, with registration at the FITC office where a one-in, on-out system will remain in place.
