Another Great Trip Day – Flag Finding in Derbyshire

HOLIDAY COURSES
Today's trip was a ride out into the countryside for a day of Flag Finding in the Peak District. We rode to the Longshaw Visitor's Centre which is surrounded by "ancient woods and dramatic views on the eastern edge of the Peak District." We split into two teams and set off on a looped trail where we intended to meet in the middle at a small stream and bridge. The aim of the day was for each team to hide 20 flags along their half of the loop and then after meeting for a break and a snack, to set off along the other half of the loop to find the flags that the other team had hidden. At the end, one team ended by finding...

Bouncing Around at I Jump

Stags
As a special treat, we took the kids to I Jump this afternoon to help them let all of their energy out on to the trampolines. As you can imagine, with 34 kids let loose in a trampoline park, there was a lot of energy! Bouncing for 2 hours, we're sure the kids will sleep well tonight. I Jump holds lots of individual trampolines, a basketball court, monkey swings, plenty of foam pits and a humongous air bag to jump at from a height. If your child missed out on this trip to I Jump then DON'T PANIC as we have another one coming up on Wednesday the 22nd of August.

Summer Club Day 2

Stags
After last night's weather and the forecast for today, we weren't hopeful for many outside activities during today's summer club. However, we got lucky again as it dried up and the sun came out for most of the day! Another couple of new faces joined us with our regulars and we hope we'll continue to see them throughout the summer. Mark and Austin lead some great football activities, creating their own game of "2 touches 1 bounce" and refereeing some small games of football. We used the showers as a chance to play some video games indoors (the rain isn't always a bad thing!).

First Day of Summer Club

Stags
We've had a great first day of summer club! Some regular faces and some new ones have made our first day a thoroughly enjoyable one. We started the day with some indoor activities such as playing some rather intense games of Mario Kart and Fifa. We then moved on to play table tennis and after, we moved outside onto the 3G training pitch to play some football activities in the sun. We're very excited for the rest of the Summer Club and lots more adventures and activities!

Indoor Rock Climbing – Nottingham Feb 2017

Indoor rock climbing
Nottingham - Indoor Rock Climbing Our February 2017 trip saw us visit Nottingham Climbing Centre. For most of the children it was there first ever experience of rock climbing. The children got to experience rope climbing, bouldering and top roping. The children had a vast difference in ability regarding climbing. Certain children found it comfortable climbing and managed to reach the top. Other children struggled at first but improved as the day went on. The children enjoyed their experience with many of them saying " Can we come again "
